My name is Teun de Haas, and I’m a Sr. User Interaction & UX Lead.
I’m passionate about creating digital products and services that are meaningful and add joy to peoples’ lives; one experience at a time.
20+ years experience in User Centered Design and Service design, both in-house at several companies as well as for a renowned design agency.
I’ve worked in a wide range of industries such as Retail, E-commerce, Automotive, Entertainment, Consumer electronics, Navigation, Travel & Games.
I’ve had the privilege of working for big name companies such as: IKEA, Albert Heijn, Guerrilla Games and TomTom to name a few.
My specialties are (eco)system thinking, consumer and enterprise software and multi-channel and cross platform design solutions. I like untangling complex processes, taking the business- and user requirements (both functional and emotional) then transforming them into solid designs.
I love to work in multidisciplinary development teams across the whole journey; from design research, concepting, prototyping, design, implementation, user-testing, and bringing to market products and/or services.
Next to designer I’m also a husband, and a dad of two awesome girls. When I can find the time I love woodworking, to cook for friends, go to the gym/run/bike, play games, and be out and about.
